Working with Extreme Productions on an incredibly challenging project to film a wingsuit flyer making a mid-air catch of a plummeting rugby ball! Andy used his experience in Wingsuit flying to capture the footage on three separate helmet-mounted cameras whilst trailing the tethered ball for stuntman Gary Connery to chase and catch.

Great fun and an equally great success the team managed to make the project work against the odds.

Filming the sequence in air Wingsuit camera-flyer Andy used the following helmet-mounted cameras:

  • Two GoPro 4 Black cameras for 4K footage and still images

  • Canon Eos 5D Mk3 with 50mm lens for video

  • Sony HDR-CX410VE with 16mm lens for video
