ACCELERATED FREE FALL
The AFF course is the first step to becoming a fully qualified skydiver. It consists of eight levels which build new skills throughout, during which your instructors are right there with you in freefall to coach and assist as you as you progress.
Starting with a thorough ground school (minimum six hours) we cover all you need to know to complete the first level. With two instructors holding you throughout the exit and freefall phase we instruct you during the freefall to maximize learning and progression. Then, after your parachute is deployed we are in communication with you via radio to assist you with the canopy flight and landing.

All of your levels are captured on video as an aid to de-briefing. Once the de-brief is completed, we get the parachutes packed, brief for the next level and jump again.

What happens next??

Upon completing the eight AFF levels you will move on to the ten consolidation descents, Still under the guidance of our instructors you will be briefed and checked as in the main course. An instructor will be on the aircraft to give you a pre-jump equipment check and a thumbs up to go... Into freefall on your own to practice the newly found skills learnt on the eight levels of AFF.

The AFF course starts with a day of ground school, a minimum of 6 hours in the classroom to get you ready to make your Level 1 Skydive. At Infinite Skydiving we firmly believe a day of groundschool is quite enough for most people and we do not look to get you in the air to jump the same day as you train. Our students perform better having had an evening to reflect on the course material and read their manuals before returning to make the Level 1 Skydive with us.

The subsequent seven levels can be done over a couple of days depending on weather and your personal ability and wishes. We have students who have completed the full AFF course and consolidation jumps in the UK within a week.

Wind Tunnel.

We offer coaching in the vertical wind tunnel at Airkix - The Indoor Skydiving Centre, Milton Keynes at very competetive rates to assist you with your flying position and basic skills.
The Airkix learn to fly package usually costs £176.99.

For £135.00, Infinite Skydiving's own AFF skydiving intructors will come and fly with you in the wind tunnel and take you through the basic course skills.

(Also at Airkix Indoor Skydiving Centre, Milton Keynes)

All the equipment required for the course is supplied for your use by us, you do not need to purchase anything before the course.

AFF Manual
We will e-mail you an AFF manual to look over when you book your course, containing important information that will ease you through the ground school and an excellent aide-memoire for the rest of the course.
